    1. Arthur Dib Montclair Center Stage Weekly Music Series!
      Overall Rating:
      3

Montclair should consider a semi-permanent stage at the corner of Church and S. Park. It should have a decent light rig and be suitable for larger acts and crowds. Church Street should be closed to all vehicle traffic on weekends and during events. There should be a larger budget to book national acts. The events seem to be shrinking instead of growing. The talent is good but a bit stale. Needs to be more variety and be better suited to the younger demographic. Bottom line is events in Montclair are great but they COULD be better and drive revenues more than they currently are.

I totally agree with Arthur Dib. We always love going to Church St to hear live music, but have agree that Church Street should be closed on weekends when there is entertainment. We have been there many times when crowds tend to gather in the street and a car comes around the corner from Bloomfield Avenue and it is very dangerous, especially when there are children around.
It’s a fun time to listen to music and get to hear different artists, young and old.
