“Postal Love” is a grand mural project spanning over 500 square feet, created with the theme “Love Montclair” in mind. It was conceived to evoke the warm, affectionate feelings associated with Montclair for both residents and visitors as they enter or depart the town. The mural is a visual love letter to Montclair, encapsulating the town’s spirit and charm.
Central to the mural’s design is a postage stamp, symbolizing the delivery of this heartfelt message. The silhouette within the stamp is set against a backdrop of vibrant colors, with New Jersey’s state bird, the goldfinch, taking flight above a blooming heart. Adding a layer of interactivity, augmented reality elements bring the mural to life, with animations that include a pulsating heart and the fluttering goldfinch, enhancing the overall sensory experience of the artwork.
