How Tony Boys got here…
Crazy as it sounds, Tony Boy’s was never really the plan. But, having both parents in the food business, Anthony Marra inevitably knew he would end up here. In 2013, he opened a full-service restaurant, Marra’s Restaurant in Livingston, NJ. As the years went on, he kept noticing this little storefront three doors down that had remained vacant. Four years later, he figured he would give it a try and just open up a few hours a day for lunch and sell some sandwiches and salads.
He wanted to be different and offer things that were fun, interesting and unique, while also taking classic sub-shop staples and making them the way he liked to eat them. The concept was well received and he quickly realized this was going to be more than a little sub-shop open a few hours a day.
