The YMCA of Montclair has been making a positive impact in our community since 1891, working to empower young people, improve health and well-being, and inspire action in and across our community.
Today, the YMCA of Montclair operates three branches—Park Street Branch, Geyer Family Branch, and YMCA Outdoor Education Center in West Milford — serving over 14,000 members. Membership is open to all, with financial assistance available to those who live in their service area (Bloomfield, Cedar Grove, Clifton, Glen Ridge, Haskell, Hewitt, Montclair, Verona, Wanaque, and West Milford).
At their Park Street Y, they offer:
– Upgraded weight-cardio-circuit-spin rooms
– 70+ group exercise classes (including 15 yoga classes offered per week)
– Locker rooms with steam and sauna
– Indoor track
– 2 indoor pools
– Complimentary Wellness Intake session
– Child Watch while you workout
At their Geyer Family Y, they offer:
– Early Learning Center (infant to PreK daycare)
– Enrichment and sports classes
– Indoor pool
– Outdoor playground
They also offer chronic disease programming, senior coffee hours, pickleball, summer camps, before and after school care, teen programming and special events.
