There are approximately 2,000 public parking spaces in Montclair Center, including well over a thousand inside four decks. Large blue and white P street signs will direct you to theses decks. Deck parking is $2 per hour. However, the lower level of the midtown deck at Glenridge Avenue has 15 minute incremental pay options for about 75 spots.
Street parking meters cost between $1 and $2 an hour and are enforceable until 7PM. Some, not all, have an app option for convenient payment.
Loading zones are patrolled and enforceable to 6PM.
During concerts or other special events, some attended private parking (unaffiliated with the town) is made available to the public for $20/$30 for the duration of the event.
On street parking may also be available in two or three hour increments on side streets just outside of Montclair Center within walking distance to your destination, free of charge. Please park legally, respect residential property, as parking laws are enforced.
