Reimagined Portuguese & Spanish cuisine
The name TASCA comes from the term in Portugal & Spain for a small eatery frequented by locals, with a menu consisting of homemade daily dishes.
Their restaurant is a boutique modern take on these gems of the Iberian Peninsula with a fun & inviting ambiance.
Founded by Sergio Moutela and Chef Robert Santello, TASCA is more than just a restaurant—it’s a labor of love, born from a shared passion for bringing the rich culinary heritage of the Iberian Peninsula to life in a fresh and exciting way.
Executive Chef Rob Santello is a visionary in the kitchen. Hailing from Heirloom Kitchen, Heirloom St Laurent & Alta NYC, he brings years of experience and a deep understanding of flavors to every dish he creates in true artistic form, elevating familiar Iberian ingredients to new heights.
Sergio Moutela, previously of Melovino Meadery, and now Executive Chef & owner of Torino in Metuchen, was brought up in a Portuguese household which comes with being immersed in a love for food and its culture. His talent and creativity in his craft has won him awards in local and international levels.
